so. i took a couple cuttings from a cool C99 pheno while it was flowering. they're well over a foot tall now, and continue to flower as they grow, despite grow nutes and 20/4 veg lighting. i have two of them, so i topped one to see if the new growth would be veg. it's been several weeks and it's still not developed any. this is not something i've encountered. can anyone shed some light on this? i have to imagine at some point they'll veg, right? and how would it work if they didn't and i cloned them and grew out the clones? thanks!

Sounds to me that they are doing what they should be doing. Wondering why you cloned off a flowering plant? If they look good, let flower out for you bro. It's hard to revert back to veg once you have good flower production. Good luck! Peace

its gonna take a long while..2+ weeks, for a flowered cut clone to revert back to veg growth. and once it reverts back to veg growth, its gonna grow really weird. look like a bunch (tons) of new sprouts. ive taken clones in flower, but not after week 2.

i've taken cuttings during flower many times, and even re-vegged harvested plants. these two clones, one of which will be a mother, have been growing in veg for two months and continue to flower. even the new growth. i've never had clones do this. they always have some odd growth then revert back.

I've taken cuttings at 5+ weeks. Taking cuttings during flower is known as "monster cropping." Plants do take a while ime 10+ days to root and around the same time to start revegging. It varies with strain. They will grow in like the plant you revegged at first. Are they flowering or are the pistils just extra bushy? Pics? :peace:

I'd post a pic, but honestly having to upload it to a url is more of a hassle than it's worth. They look just like you'd imagine an 8 week flowering plant would look about 5 weeks in. And as i mentioned, the new growth continues to flower. Has anyone seen this two months in? Guess I'll just have to wait and see where they go...
