Clipped today! newb need help

alright i just clipped my buds today, it looks pretty good, I hung them in one of my small closets, they were just hung literally 20 min ago, i have looked through other threads and i cannot find how long to keep it in there or when to even transfer it into the jar to finish the curing, how long do u guys think for this bud? 12 hours? 24 hours? 36? thats all i need to know right now. thanks guys!

yea its all judged by the moisture in the buds u have to check the stems if they bend then they are not ready if you try bend and it snaps its ready for jar

I'm in the same boat I harvested on Friday and don't expect to jar them until next Friday or Saturday. Looking good by the way it'll be worth the wait.

congrats on the grow!!! Now comes the most important part, drying and curing. Like mentioned before let the buds hang until the stems snap when you bend them but they shouldnt break, you should just feel the snapping. This should occur in 4-7 days depending on air circulation and a few other factors. Once the buds are a lil crispy on the outside and the stems are as described before, throw your buds into paper bags. This will allow the remaining moisture in the buds to be spread more evenly. After a day or two in paper bags, throw the buds in jars. to take the guessing out of the next part i would recommend getting a caliber III hydrometer from amazon, its like $20 bud put it in the jar with your buds and you will know the exact humidity. when you put them in jars don't forget to open them up once or twice a day to let the excess humidity out.
