hey guys i got only about 5 days left or so till i chop
i have been using molasses every time i give them plain water
i was wondering about this clearex leeching solution
do people use this 3 days before harvest?
has anyone had good results with it?
and will it be okay if i use it for the next few days to leech everything out?
i started leeching 1 week before harvest aswell so just 2 days ago...

I use Clearex. I usually use Clearex and Ph'd water for 3-4 days. then change out my Res to something like Ph'd water and Just Sugar Daddy for another 4-9 days.

It all deoends oin how long it takes for my PPM to stop building in my rez tank.

Hi Dangly, I'm in my flush currently & am using clearex. Can you tell if the plant is sufficiently flushed just by looking at ppm count and if yes, were do you want the count to be? I'm currently at about 400ppm (.7 conv)
and that's after 3 days of Clearex and one day just plain RO water.

Thanks mate!

Sorry King Teg, Don't want to be busting in here, but I thought it might be good to know for others as well!

First off you have to know the PPM of the water you used, at the start. Some people tap water is over 500. I use R/O water,
which has a ppm of 40. So our PPM when finished flushing will be different.

My PPM is 40 when I start. And when I add it to my flush it might rise to like 300. I will then change out my water, this time it might rise to 200. I keep this up until I feel it is low enough.. Or until hopefully it stop riseing.

IMHO it is best to Flush for at least twice as long as you use the clearex. I only use it for 3-4 days usually. But I flush for 10-14 days.

Thanks Dangly, what do you think about the opinion that some have, that it is not beneficial to starve the plants for 2 weeks in the most critical phase, or does this only apply to soil growers? I read that some will flush, but then continue to feed a very light grow formula to the very end, any thoughts on that? Also, once I give them water only, should I still ph the water, since I'm trying to get rid of chemicals in the flush???

Thanks Mate!

Of course I still PH my water.
And my opinion is the way I flush...:)

Did you not ready that I add Sugar Daddy to my Water? This is like Carboload, or Mollasses. Sugar daddy I think is cleaner then Mollasses, and easier to mix in then Carboload, and smells better then either. My plants feed from what they have stored, and the Sugar Daddy, They do just fine.

Hey,
I'm using a hydroponic system

I'm about 2 weeks from harvest and I'm planning a ClearX flush a few days before. I'd like to clip the Colas first and then give a couple more weeks for the bottom buds ripen.

Has anyone done a flush, partial harvest then drain and re-nute?

Would the ClearX prevent the bottom buds from ripening?

Thanks

It would seem to me that the answer (on adding a second round of nutes) depends on how long your initial flush takes with respect to lowering your PPM. I can't imagine that the lower immature buds would take that much longer to mature. You might be *re-nuting* one day and starting the next flush almost immediately. I would like to know others opinions though as I am about 2-3 weeks away from harvest myself.

Hothouse, Unity, Lord, anybody.......My experience has shown that a carbo product does the most good in the last few weeks of flowering although I do add small amounts throughout the entire flowering cycle. If you had 3 weeks left before harvest, would you run Carboload, Sugardaddy, etc. for the first 2 weeks and then a complete flush the last week, or would you run CL,SD the full 3 weeks and flush the nutes for the last two? Basically, are we wasting our $ adding clearex and a carbo product at the same time?

I know i have used clearex twice so far in my 9 weel Auto HK GROW.And after each time, the plants usedalot more of the nute soulution. So i am sure it will work just as good at leaching the remaining nutes out.
