Cleaning/sterilizing hydroton for re-use?

I want to clean/sterilize my hydroton before my next run, but was wondering what ratio of H2O2 to water to use. I’ve seen some folks mention using 35% H2O2, but they dont say HOW MUCH of that to use per gallon.

Thanks in advance!

I used to soak it in a 7 gallon Brewing bucket with a spigot to drain with some bleach added and then rinse and drain it well several times with fresh water.

I also boiled it a few times if I had suspicions that it had any type of mold or fungus going on and wanted to be sure to kill it, can't help with the peroxide ratio ?

I load a 5 gallon bucket with the pebbles fill with water and dump entire bottle of peroxide in let it bubble for 24 hrs and drain. I use .88¢ bottles. No disrespect but I wouldn't use laundry bleach, pool shock maybe.

I dont want to use bleach either (which is why I asked about the H2O2) ... you said an entire bottle - is that the 3% H2O2 from the drugstore?

if you're really worried, get a bottle of physan 20, it makes a ton of suds, so its easy to tell when it's all rinsed out. they use it in commercial green houses, and big aquariums.

Just soak the pebbles in a large Tupperware tub overnight, with lots of water, and stir vigorously (scrape the shit out of them) in the morning.
I then use a colander to move the pebbles back into their pots.
I used to use cleaners, but just went simple a couple of years ago, and have not had any issues.
