clay pot mold?

Hey everyone! I am a week into vegging and I noticed tonight that the ceramic/ clay pot that my girl is planted in has a white-ish brown powdery substance on the exterior. I don't have a pic but do you think this is most likely mold? Or is it salt being extracted from the water and fert? Should I transplant into plastic while it's still early in the game? Thanks for your help in advance!!! bongsmilie

hey omen...u pretty much nailed it right on the head! The residue is just efflorescense build up...or salt/nutes...transplant it into a plastic pot like you said, not before you let it dry out for 2 or 3 days before tho...

Im gonna do it first thing tomorrow. I was set to water tomorrow as well so I'll jump on the transplant pronto!! Thanks guys!!
