Hi all

I have been trying to fix a problem that has haunted me for my last 2 crops my plants where fine for the first 3 weeks then each time I watered them they drooped over and curled downwards like a claw they also went shiny and never recovered I tried everything it definitely was not nute burn or overwatering I kept the ph at a steady 6.0 but still the problem persited it practically killed 2 crops I eventually got pissed off and one day just flushed one of my plants straight under the bathroom tap no ph adjusted and no 24 hours for the chlorine to evaporate and to my surprise the plant made an astonishing recovery I flushed the rest of my plants like this and they recovered too I am continuing to water using 7.2 ph unadjusted tap water and my plants are looking great.

Hope this helps

sounds like your ph meter is off, reading higher than it really is, ex it says your at 6.0 but your really at 5.0.

no not that I calibrated it a few times with 7.0 solution also tested it with a friends meter both read the same I did think that initially.

in that case i would have to suggest you give your feeding equipment a good scrub because there's probably residue thats tainting your nutrient mix and throwing off something in the plant. trust me i learned this lesson the hard way.

Like i said i cleaned everything even sterilised everything but the problem was finally fixed by "NOT ADJUSTING MY PH AT ALL, USING WATER STRAIGHT FROM THE TAP" Plants look good now thank fuck.
well not straight from the tap i let the water stand for at least 12 hours.
