So what? Cindy has her own money... she comes from money. Cindy also contributes a lot to charitable organizations and foundations. I donate money every year to charities.... but I will never come even minutely close to the amount of money Cindy gives away.

According to the article 97% of the price tag was in jewelry. So what... celebrities EASILY wear outfits equal in price when they go to award shows to pat themselves on the back. Cindy's husband is running for the highest office in the Country. The taxpayers aren't paying for the outfit... SHE is.....so why begrudge her spending HER money as she likes?

BTW... I'm not a McCain (or Obama) supporter so this isn't a pro McCain post.... it just seems to me this is scraping the bottom of the "something to complain about" barrel.

It's her own money? As in she worked hard for "her own money" by falling out of the right vagina? Yes, she's in the position she currently is in due to nepotism. It sure as hell wasn't the degree in special education. For me, that doesn't really mesh well while your spouse talks about representing blue collar folks. No, scraping the bottom of the something to complain about barrel would probably involve labeling her a junkie and him a cheat. Oops. :bigjoint:

Cindy is an amazing woman, she has done so much to help those who "fell out of the wrong vagina". She started many programs and charities in our nation and others, she adopted kids from other countries. what have you done johnny? If you had a bunch of money I wouldn't be shocked if you counted it every day.

Cindy McCain supports a man that killed 134 sailors and burned countless more on the USS Forestall by hotdogging his F-4 fantom fighter on a wet start. Yes it was John McCains fault that fire on the Forestall. His father the Admiral, tried to cover it up, but survivors tell a different story. In 1967 the USS Forestal (an aircraft carrier) was carrying out operations against North Vietnam from the Gulf of Tonkin. A rocket on the wing of an F4 Phantom ignited and hit the fuel tank of another aircraft causing a fire in which several 1000lb bombs exploded.

The allegation against McCain is that he deliberately "wet started" his A4 Skyhawk - allowing fuel to pool in the engine so a flame would shoot from the tail. It was one of the ways young hot-shots got their jollies.

The flame set-off the rocket and caused the explosions.

McCain's father was in command of US Naval operations in the area. The allegation is that he covered-up his son's culpability. What is true is that McCain junior (and only McCain junior) was sent to Subic Bay pronto, before speaking to investigators. He later submitted an account to
the board of enquiry - after he had had plenty of time to put together a plausible story.

BTW a few weeks earlier Admiral McCain was also involved in covering-up the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty!

The Forestall board of enquiry postulated (without much evidence) that an electrical surge had caused the rocket to fire - many people in the Navy Department were sceptical.

None of this has been mentioned in any mainstream media, although every allegation against Obama has - no matter how absurd or trivial.

And we are not just talking about the deaths of 134 men, but the taking-out of commission of a major naval asset in the middle of a war.

Even IF it was true, how would it be McCain's fault that a rocket, that flew across the deck, hit HIS plane? No answer? Just say Bush did it, like you always do.

You are truly grasping at straws here Medoman. I am getting a good laugh at the opposition from the left, I want to hear flaws in his policies and plans, like the abundance Obama has. Not who's daughter is pregnant, not how much dresses cost, not something that wasn't McCain's fault over 30 years ago. I want to hear why he would not made a good POTUS, so far I am left disappointed.

You want details? OK. When you wet start a jet, there is a huge backfire that shoots flame out the exhaust, a trick used by hotdogs like McCain. The backfire hit the planes rocket on the plane behind him causing it to launch into the fuel tank on his F-4 starting a fire. McCain panicked and while exiting his F-4 accidently dropped two 1,000lb bombs onto the deck. The full fuel tank continued to pour fuel onto the fire and the two 1,000 lb Bombs cooked off (blew up) and started a chain reaction that took out 26 jets and 134 men, while burning countless others. These details have been covered up for years and are still being covered up. The survivors that wanted to lynch him have spoken up since leaving the service. you'll definently not see this on the 6O'clock news. So you think the deaths of 134 men and the destruction of 26 fighter jets and the wounding and burning of many others to be trivial, Figures. When your head is incased in concrete, not much gets in.

I don't think that someone who is wearing $280,000 earrings can truly understand what 90% if Americans go through. When was the last time any of the candidates had to chose between food or prescritions? Between gas for work and food?

My HOUSE cost $40,000 (midwest in the middle of nowhere). I could have bought 7 of them for the cost of her jewelry.

As for the Forrestal incident try, YouTube - Forrestal Disaster (Aircraft Carrier Explosion) - 1/5 its in 5 parts and a little long but worth watching I beleive. 4 of 5 video is particularly interesting. Notice the location of Aircraft firing the missile and the Aircraft hit by it.

My MOS in the Army was 68F20, Aircraft Electrician. Admittedly not navy aircraft but Hueys, snakes and 58's. I seen a lot wierd stuff happen with the electrical systems. Back then switches, relays and contactors where mechanical. They took a lot of abuse for viberation, heat and carbon buildup on contacts, after a period on time would have to be replaced because they would stick in the open or closed positions. So the conclusion of the investigator is not outside the realm of possiblility.
