Hi, I'm new to cannabis industry and looking to begin growing medical cannabis, as such I was hoping if you would help me decide the best strains/seeds to begin with. Some information that might help you help me are :

My Location:

I live on the beautiful Island of St.Vincent and the Grenadines located in the Caribbean.

Intended grow medium/location:

I would like to grow outside as much as possible.

Climate:

The climate here is rather hot and humid, with the average temperature being approximately 77-83 degree fahrenheit and the approximate humidity being 61% to as high as 80%.

Other relevant specifications:

- I would like to maximize my yield as much as possible ( 1 lb + per plant).
- Ensure strain is as weather and mold resistant as possible.
- As high THC as possible
- Preferably no more than 4 months from seed to harvest ( prefer less if possible)
-----------------------------------

Also any other advice is welcomed, appreciated and encouraged

go here
https://en.seedfinder.eu/research/climate/zones/AwSa2/
and play with the drop down menus from "Select a climate zone"
it can be argued it's more determined by the grower what can survive and thrive moreso than the genetics. at least that's my belief told by the giant rainbow dragon riding wizards from space
this is realistically more along the lines of what you can grow

Lol your Giant rainbow dragon does have a point, but could you please ask him for some more info so that I may have a better chance at having a successful crop?

It's still a new industry and lots of things are kept confidential so not many persons are willing to discuss it, as for anyone I know personally? Unfortunately no
i hear ya...that's the first thing i would do, honestly....this way you know people and also your not stepping on any toes as it were....worse thing you can do is to start stepping on toes......your industry won't last long..

I would suggest a sativa dominate cultivar. They take longer but meant to grow in tropical environments. Their bud structure allows for higher humidity and heat. Hope this helps. Durban poison is tropical land race. Would think an Afghanni would do well in your environment also.

I don't they have fully legalized it, perhaps Grenada but not sure about the rest
you won't know till you look.....legalized isn't the point...js

Perhaps I should try to veg them in a green house?
don't with the weather you have risk for bud rot, and pm are to high, small pot outside to start....then move to medium pot.....then final place

You could do as they do in Colombia ,,which is to use lights to extend the daylight hours to hold back flowering until plants are bigger,,,or interupt the dark cycle with an hours light through the night,,
But using a greenhouse in an already humid environment, and then pay for ventilation sounds like a nightmare,,

use the tropical environment its a dream for many,,good luck
