Choosing the best grinder?

I got a new grinder today, which also had a kief collector, and I don't know if I made the right choice. I didn't get a plastic one because I heard plastic bits stay in your herb and are dangerous to smoke. The one I got is made of steel, I expect aluminium, but now people tell me aluminium leaves harmful bits too :?

What's the grinder of your choice? :D

i use a plastic grinder and havnt had any problems, i dont think that weed will make pieces of plastic or steel fall off.
whenever i dont have a grinder i use a little bowl and a scissor

Lol I used to break it down with my fingers, but now I don't need to anymore ;)

my fingers get way to sticky and i cant roll properly if i use them to break it up :blsmoke:
Yeah that's how it was at first for me too, but after I got used to it, the stickiness actually helped me roll better, because it was easier to get a grip on the paper :D

I use a sweetleaf at the moment. Just keep it clean as I just spent 15 minutes trying to unstick mine and weed went flying once it opened. bongsmilie

I like a metal grinder with smaller teeth and a keif catcher. I like the small teeth because sometimes I have to purchase regular shit that has seeds. the small teeth help to not smash the seeds

Google Mendo Mulcher.. Can find them on Ebay. If they still make them the same way as they use to, this is the one. A little expensive but extremely well made.

i used a braun coffie grinder for 18 years before it died...and it died cause the plastic broke down and became brittle in the motor housing...there was about 3 grams of crystal inside.....i didnt consume it tho....

plastic grinders are pretty shit, they will clog up fast if you smoke a lot. I tried a sharp-stone metal grinder and it grinded really well at first but then the blades started falling off...
I have another no name metal one from a convenience store that I've had for years now and it has the pyramid teeth instead of the sharp-stone kind. You will get build up but its much easier to clean than a plastic one.

Also i have 2 keif collectors on this grinder but they don't do shit all. your better off getting one of those small stash boxes with a net, you'll get a lot more keif... especially if you do poppers

love my grinder it's aluminum and steel but very good the teeth are like razor blades. when i am back to square one (like now) i put some baccy in and grind the concentrate on the teeth sort out about three joints and the kief i wrap up in damp waxpaper press with an iron for 3 minutes an i have an eigth. a grinder def gets the most out of a bud :)

Sharpstone, Mendo Mulcher, Cali Crusher, and Chromium.....all top quality high grade aircraft aluminum. If you want one without a kief collector go for Mendo Mulcher; if you want one with a kief collector any of the other 3 have that option.

Those yellow plastic ones that Greenhouse Seed Company logo is on work great too if you aren't worried about kief as well...probably the best plastic one I've found. Got it free when ordering seeds off Attitude one time

damn nobody use there fingers to break down therre bud anymore fuck wasting 50 on a grinder
I paid $20ish for my Spacecase. It's also a machined-aluminum model ... couldn't find its equivalent in a tougher alloy, like stainless or tool steel. I am a big fan ... a very even grind of bud (I like a fine grind; works better in a bong). cn
