I'd like to know and ask what people like using to make their concentrates to either go after more yield or a more quality product but perhaps less yield due to less product to start with. I only use full flower now but it is all I have access to a the moment. I plan on growing later to have a blend of the flower and trim to make the range of hash most of all.. What are your methods??

Shame you dont grow yet.

It depends. Some people just cant really tell small differences in quality. The trim will make it darker, youll notice once you do start growing those trichs ripen first and overall have smaller heads-higher "shell" content compared to thc inside.. and the leaves have more wax on them.

When i make mine i do usually use buds and sugar leaves. But for my personal special stuff, only whole buds of selected sativas.

I should back up and say Im growing at a friends but have yet to see their progress. I do have a clone that is having trouble rooting but i placed a clear cup over it to keep the moisture in, looks to be thriving despite not much of a root.
But i am not in a position to be growing nor smoking. The house
i live in is supposed to be a sober house which the boss is a manager of a drug treatment center. On another note....

Honestly i like the flower since it does produce a more quality product and I have a finished product best for personal use not 20 people. If it is for one or two people I do not mind making it because the end result Ive had recently with flower has been really rich in color and retains some smell.

When I get growing more seriously then I will find some solace knowing What I put into the plant prior to smoking it. Makes it much more worthwhile having done one plant last year.
