If you are out of options, look into running a sterile reservoir. You could also put the slimy dead roots off, spray remaining roots with H2O2 , rinse and replant in soil and keep using the mycogrow.

Yeah, i as actually thinking it was possible that the EWC went bad due to it being in a zip lock bag for over a year - I pulled some new EWC from the original ancient forest bag and its much more 'wet'. I've also purchased great white and hydroguard, in hopes that maybe one of those three ingredients are the issue(zho mycogrow and ziplocked ewc). So my new tea that just started brewing 5 minutes ago is 1 gallon of water, 15ml of hydroguard, 1/2 tsp great white, 1tsp molasses, 1/2 cup of ancient forest.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Make sure there is plenty of air being pumped into the mix. Give the mix a sniff in a day or 2, should have a pleasant smell, like rich organic soil.

There's no reason to be exact when measuring. Just don't add too much molasses. Brewing the tea is just increase the amount of bennies, it goes from a few thousand pre-brew to millions and billions post brew.
