Chilled tech led?

Hey all. I was about to order their 3 bar v330 and noticed they only have a 1 year warranty. I expected it would be longer given the price and what looks like a really solid build. The other 2 lights I am now considering offer one that is a lot longer. Can anyone fill me in on why chilled only covers their stuff for a year?

Says it all right there. Stick with brands that have long lives, and are recommended. I wouldn't worry too much about the length of the guarantee.

My lights, which were 800$ per, rated at 10k hours 100% output, have a one year guarantee. A year at 24/7 cycle is 8760 hours. It's all about math, man. I reckon my first harvest will more than pay for the cost of those lights.

Their DIY kits are listed with a 1yr warranty. The prebuilt units are listed at 3yr

ChilLed has my vote. The commercial versions have a 3 year warranty. I would guess they would hook you up though even after a year if you had issues with the kits as long as you didn't cause it, but I couldn't say for sure.

Good deal man, I didn't really take too long deciding, and since I live in Red state, had to buy mine in person to avoid you know, trouble. Bought it from a place I've dealt with in the past, and I trust them.

But the chilLED does look like a good outfit to deal. I'd buy from them. If it were me though, I'd buy the ready to run lights, if nothing else for the longer guarantee.

Thanks for the replies. I had overlooked the difference between the regular and diy light. I went with the Chilled v3 pre built.

Do they add UV LED to their spectrum ?
