Thanks BKB, I'm hoping for some nice tops. Oh yeah autos stretch for the first 3 weeks of flowering. That's why I LSTed my auto from the get go because of the stretching. Looks like you got another great grow going on

Hey Millyy thanks for the back up of hope With the flower tablet you don't have control over the nutrients you give Lucy, but I do and because I have the control I can ensure my plants stay green, plus I alternate between nutrients with a high level of Nitrogen and nutrients for flowering.

Update time................... Tina & Terrie are looking good, Terrie's stem has recovered from the LSB technique. I made it rain with Joni and I went back over the Make It Rain thread and realized that if I want Tina & Terrie to wick the water from the soil faster, I have to pH the water to 5.8, I'll see if it makes a difference. Check out pictures of the family...........................

Looking good chief...I see Terrie is putting on undergrowth. Is Joni budding yet? I've been meaning to ask are you using fox farm ocean forrest? I'm thinking of doing a few soil plants to compare advanced soil to hydro and see the margin...I think it's smaller than people think when it's an ebb and flow not a dwc or aero rig. I'm thinking of doing some comparison testing like a 200w Induction light vs. 600w HPS...and a nutrient comparing...advanced vs. dutch master vs. house and garden...or Dyna grow vs. B.C. nutrients vs. Humboldt...and a advanced soil vs. hydroponics what do you like? Anyway keep it up man

Good to hear terries stem is fixed, and you know what joni reminds me of for some reason..? Arch's plant haha...its so bushy and green. I do see what you mean about the nutes, i can't control how much i give it with the tablet but thats all a learning experience i guess haha.

hey also the ph of the water u use to initially flush with, 'rain', has to be phd to 5.8-6.5 i ph it to around 6.3...but this is very important...the water leaches the nutes outa the soil and causes the plant to go into 'hyperdrive' wicking water up super fast...the ph allows the tree to uptake the most ammount of nutes wen u feed it...rain is always around 6.3 ph...everytime i make it rain my plants seem to droop for about and hour and then soon after perk right up and look really happy...wen they droop the plant is basically sleeping and when she wakes up she begins to work wicking up water in search of the nutes...and this is why wen the top soil begins to dry we are to feed slowly and in the centre of the pot untill slight run off making sure the plant is replenished with nutes that where leached

What's up Rastadred, man glad to see you checking out the thread. I've learned to keep them green and healthy Okay, I was a little worried that I had the pH too high, but I pH my water to 6.0-6.5. It looks like I'm okay with the levels of my water when I make it rain. Joni needs watering every day seem like. I checked out your thread and got caught up, you have been busy your girls look great as always

Yo Millyy thanks man, Terrie is coming along just fine. I can see the areas where I FIMed Join is starting to grow back, I'll take pics of her later today. Joni does remind me of Arch's Babygirl when she was young with all those bud sites I learned a lot about nutrients this grow, I was all over the place with the nutrients during my first grow. So you are right, it is a learning experience!

Thanks Icannabis, I FIMed Joni, you can see the areas where she's growing back and quickly too. Looks like she's going to have several buds She has not started to flower yet, she's only been flowering for 5-6 days. I only use Fox Farm soil, saves on nutrients. It seems to me that hydroponic or any grow with water usually yield more, so I would be interested in the results of the comparison. Also I curious about the nutrients that are being used, which ones helps most with yield.

I still find nutrients a bit hard to persue...haha, hopefully by next grow my tab problem won't be as bad. Looks like you're giving it the right amounf of nutes though because they all look HEALLLLTHYYYYYYY

I've heard only good things about there soil heard most of there products are up to snuff...well tiger bloom is not for the light of heart. Millyy...And I think most people make nutrients to difficult. One thing to remember about plants and nutrients is that if you don't have a well developed root mass that all those nutrients are out of optimum ratios and for the most part useless to the plants. Small plants need less nutrient large plats need more. Because the assumption is that large plant have large root mass. I'd focus on soil conditioning next grow and solid pH and a fair amount of drainage. And Chief I can't wait to see those F.I.M pictures. I can't wait to see Terrie too like the daughter I never had...lol

Update time................... Fed Joni nutes last night, you can see in the pictures the areas where I FIMed her starting to grow back. It's my understanding that you can get 2 or more colas from using the FIM method. Terrie's stem is recovering from the LSB technique but I'm keeping her stem tied a few more days . I'm trying to decide if I want to still do a scrog with Tina. She is so bushy, I admit that I don't know how to begin now After reading Rastadred's post, my pH level in the water 6.0-6.5 is okay. Check out pictures of the family...........................

Millyy, your flowering tablets will work better once you get a pH meter to check your soil. Also when you are able, invest in nutrients so you can have control over how much and when your baby gets them. I have a chart that tells me how much nutrients I should use and during what stage I should use them. I start off with 1/4 of the recommended amount and each week I increase the amount by 1/4.

Hey Icannabis, I agree about the use of nutrients, that's why I use Fox Farm Soil. You don't have to worry about nutrient for 3-4 weeks. Also with so many different nutrients on the market it's hard to know which ones to use. I've learned to use nutrients high in N during the veggie stage and nutrients high in P<K during the flowering stage. I try to keep it simple when it comes to nutrients. Check out the pictures of your girl Terrie, I still have her taped up because she was leaning to one side. I figure a few more days and she will be okay. You can really see the areas growing back where I FIMed Joni.

I'm going to try a new technique on my next grow in veg. you take the big fan leafs on the top and use a paper clip and lightly fold them down so the under growth can get more light. And you unfold them when you go to flower them. I'm going to give it a try. And Terrie is going to be a monster. She is spreading out but not to much. Joni what to say? You got more bush than any man needs that's my motto for your grow...lol

Your first grow is always a learning experience During the 2nd grow, all the mistakes made from your 1st grow will be corrected and you will see an increase at harvest time. I'm definitely correcting all the mistakes made in my first grow with this grow. These babies are looking much better than my plants from the 1st grow, they are much more healthier, greener and less stressed. I'm hoping by keeping them healthy and green will yield more than

Hey Icannabis, I like the idea of folding the leaves under using a paper clip until flowering time. I learned an important lesson about cutting off the leaves which was definitely a NOOB mistake Terrie is making me proud, I'm hoping she is female because she is so gorgeous If not, then he would be the perfect male to impregnate my Tina (if she's a female).

I totally agree with you Chief...you hopefully learn a lot from your first grow and use that knowledge to make the next one better. I've gotten MUCH better results, so far, with my second grow. The plants look so much healthier and greener than last time, so I'm hoping for an even better harvest (and I did pretty good for a newb).

Yeah I cut leafs off all the time...and Terrie is a beast...I think that LSB is going to work great for you...Joni is looking very wide and bushy...I'm glad you tried F.I.M looking to see the results. I can't wait to see the bud you produce.
