I just got this and am gonna start with the chives, cilantro, and parsley. just wondering what the proper pH's were and good nutrients to give them. I have Dyna gro+bloom and also a little bit of pbp veg, and other stuff like cal+mag and superthrive. any input/suggestions? thank u
edit: this is hydroponic technically

I was looking at getting one but imo its cheaper to buy the seeds, soils and pots since pots are $0.10 each or so, Soil is $5 per bag and seeds are around $1 each. Even dropping the money for an AeroGarden would be better. But as for the PH levels I would find out what they used for the soil and find out how to test the PH and find out what PH the herbs like it to be.

you can still do a PH level test with it a PH meter. Always use a Digital one and make sure its calibrated.

Herbs don't need flowering food. Also I just give mine B-1 Thrive as their food and so far no problems.

There plants, thats all.. Why do hydro, they are not consumed and killed, hydro for 9 months would be a pin in your kitchen. I gorw all mine like house plants or vegs. My Soil mix, then water as needed, Fert with N evey now and then.. and your good to go. There is no BLoom or BUd on herbs, just give it some N or a 10-10-10 type fert ( or whatever you have). Once you have them established, they will grow just fine under Flor kitchen lights.
