You drove me to it! Sick of crap weed with no potency. I just picked up a pack of chernobyl s1 slymer cut, and a pack of meltdown f1 off DC seed exchange. Can't wait to see my sips full of sparkly dank spears of lime heaven!

I just popped four myself! I’ve grown several along with other BB strains over the last few years . I love Meltdown and Fireballs also!

I have some slymers going.
Topped, lollipopped and flipped under mh for the first 2wks in effort to reduce stretch.
Now they're under hps.
The first couple weeks of flowering under blue always did wonders at keeping my old Trainwreck hybrids nice & tight.

@BobBitchen You are the REAL Champ We couldn't appreciate your work more, I haven't been this excited to get any packs popped in like 5 years NO JOKE Our Slymer cut meant EVERYTHING to us and I can't wait to find our own unique leaners. We will be posting pics all the way through under the all new Fohse Pisces 900 watt, 2 Growers Choice E720's (With UV-R bars that I'm not sold on them yet, but we can see if it changes frost production) also an HLG Scorpion Rspec (See what those deep reds can do) as well as the trusty Nanolux Ledzx 630 this combination of light should yield some of the most insane results we have EVER seen it's a HUGE change after 20 years of MH/HPS it's been a fun learning curve but I don't think I can think of better strains to do this comparison. The wife and I have a decent tolerance built up. We don't even feel our edibles anymore. Give them to someone else, and they call in sick to work for 2 days. Same with our smoke. Takes 3 or 4 full bong packs, by then I have a headache. My buddy takes one rip and he needs to go lay down.
Hoping these lovely genetics break that routine. Anything else anyone would recommend, I'm in no way opposed to expanding my library

Yes Bob is the best. I last grew Meltdown five years ago. I’ll look for pics. I don’t really remember specifics ( I was growing way too many different strains back then, like 30. It was nuts. I just remember it
I grew Honeybee and Slymer first. The Honeybee was the prettiest plant I ever grew. Not the strongest THC, but still very enjoyable. I will grow it again. The Slymer is easy to grow and I found one that was funky key lime pie. Potency is incredible! Meltdown was purple like Honeybee with Chernobyl bud structure and very good potency. I loved all three and don’t even get me started on Fireballs, cherry and habanero! One of my all time favorites! Genuity and Bob are my heroes. I feel privileged to grow their creations!

For me, they do seem to bulk up a bit going to my target date of 70ish days.

All 10 popped, think I lost one. Hoping to find a keeper or two and run the clones in my sips for the community grow. Hope I have enough time. Meltdown pheno hunt next! I'll be saving pollen and making crosses next year sometime.

Lookin good man. I'm smelling lime, lemon oil, jacks cleaner in most of mine too. A little pencil in the narrowest leaf pheno.
But I've grown a lot of Cleaner hybrids so its pretty easy for me to pick that out.
Can you describe the astringent you're smelling?
I've always considered astringent to be a dry taste/sensation like green banana peel or Alum.
