you still didn't tell me how it does any good for Reid to throw his own country under the bus. sure, it's good for the hate filled anti-Bush people but what about the Americans who just want a better tomorrow? what about the people who actually do believe this war serves a purpose other than profits and greed?

the article you posted is nothing but party line jabbering, there's no substance and it didn't tell me how it's good and constructive to say we've lost.

Maybe the viewers can make up their own minds about who's right and wrong. It is the typical response of the republicans and the right to attack when they are losing or trumped, so attack away. Me too. BTW I'm a registered independent and will vote for the best man for the job as I see it. This administration has done more to fuck this and other countries than any since I've been alive, they've got to go.

Actually Med ... I lead a great life. I have lots of friends, make great money, have a home in an area that has great weather and low crime. I'm in great physical shape, eat a healthy diet, don't drink alcohol, don't smoke cigarettes and I am not a communist. A positive mental attitude does wonders. You should try it sometime.

WWII Democrat (liberal) FDR was in power, War of 1812, the President in power was James Madison (who was a democratic - republican) The predecessor to today's Democratic Party (but he could be described either way), The Predecessors to the Republicans were the Federalist Party.

Don't even talk to me about the cold war, I served during the cold war.
It is something you know very little about.
No we didn't win Korean war, there was a cease fire, and the Communist stayed right there in Korea.

We were losing in Vietnam because they were using tactics we had never been up against. Some of the same problems cropped up in Vietnam as are now in Iraq.

Bush's strategy of "as the Iraqi troops stand up, we'll stand down", that was tried in Vietnam with the ARVIN, it didn't work either.

There are a lot of those Democrats there on the hill now that served in Iraq. and know what this war is really about.... Afghanistan is the military op and Iraq is the corporate op.

If you go by what you are saying about liberals in your last post then you negated your statement that liberals historically are quitters...

BTW what are you worried about... Mr Arm Chair Quarterback. I bet you don't have any family over there... I do, I have 3 family members there and a cousin who retired a Master Sargent from the Air Force who did 2 tours in Afghanistan and 2 tours in Iraq. I've been told what is actually happening there. all you get is what you see on the news.
