I've got the jc2, but no males...but I do have vortex and spacebomb males...maybe I should regenerate one of the chemos for some breeding...that seems like a great indoor cross(jc/chemo)....you might end up with a diesel type with more meat!

ya i think it will be an interesting cross,i really like the results of breeding with chemo,i find it so stable and for big bud it has kick and flavor,i never tried the vortex or other tga strains, someone gave me the jc cutting and i grew it into a 32 bud site bush, its at 8 weeks now,it realy has a strong lemon smell like nothing ive ever grown. It has plenty of resin glands, they are not as big as a kush trichome but many of them,im letting it go untill 9 weeks, and 10 weeks for the seeded bud.i also have a chemoxgod budxrhino back to rhino,it produced one phenoe that has it all but it hermied on the bottom, but im keeping it.

my chemos are about a week out...they certainly do not lack meat! mine don't smell lemony at all, they smell 'fresh', with an overtone of skunk, and undertone of roasted chestnut...they have a real indoor friendly growth pattern....it's just too bad they lack firepower...I hate to ditch them(i have entirely too many breeds!), cause they definitely have some breeding potential for anyone willing to invest the time.
Mine smell real fresh too. I was watering them and touched some of the buds.
After I left the grow room I could smell that "fresh bud" smell all over my fingers.
It was so delicious.

the flavor is like blueberries
Oh really?!?! Man I would love that! I grew some blueberry a few years. I love me some blueberry!!

These three females I have growing are in small 3 gallon buckets and have grown pretty big. They are really easy to grow and they look like they will be a big yeilder.
Oh yeah, here are the growing conditions if youre interested. I only vegged for one week. They were so tiny when I switched the light to 12/12.

I also included some information I found about chemo.....

UBC Chemo
Breeder: Federation Seed Co.
Species: Indica dominant
Environment: Indoor / Outdoor
Origin:
Flowering Time: 60-65 days
Heritage:
Flavor: Hashy
Aroma:
High: Very strong
Other Info: Medically used for chronic pain and nausea, medicinal

Mostly indica. This Chemo was developed at the U.B.C. decades ago and is still in its unique form. Characteristics such as: two or three branches growing together, woody stalk, smaller three-fingered leaves make it look bonsai-like in appearance. Very strong with a hashy taste. Bred for medical purposes. The longer you can flower it the better -- very dense, round golfball size nugs.

I still have 10 seeds, so I may consider breeding it down the road. Probably not any time soon though. I want to see what the smoke is like, and I need to find a suitable partner to cross it with. So what should I do with the seeds? Freeze them? Keep them dry? haha. Seriously though..... what??

I also heard that this strain produces ALOT of resin, and was great for making hash. However, I do not notice an exceptional amount of resin, just the normal amount.... haha But I still have a while to go. :weed:
My plan is to harvest these 3 girls at different times. The smallest one I will harvest first, to get some quick smoke. The largest girl I will harvest when the triches tell me to. And the medium sized girl I will let go for a really really long time.(when I say long time, I really mean a long time, atleast 1 month after its ready) I want to experiment and see what the difference is.
I will post harvest reports when its time......
Until then, :joint:

I ordered those seeds from hempdepot.ca

They remove the original packaging for "stealth"shipping/ I will not go into detail anyfurther, but they are very discreet.

Ive ordered many various strains from different breeders and I always recieved the strain I expected. Everytime.

If you have any questions/problems you can email Brad. He is always quick to respond and has helped me before.
