I want to try to do this and am just looking for advice.I want to veg in 1/2 gallon pots with chemical nutes.just before they start to get rootbound i will flush out the soil really well with clearex and water.then transplant into 5 gal buckets of prepared organic flowering soil, veging for a week to let the transplant stress ease over, then flipping to 12/12.
Is it really worth the time to attempt?I do like the taste of organics over chemical but have always been under the impression organics take longer to veg with, hence this question.
I know that by using chemicals in the soil you pretty much kill the soil.that is why i want the plants to almost get rootbound in the 1/2 gal containers,so when i transplant and water them into the 5 gal. buckets the roots will reach past the original root ball and be digging in prepared organic soil.
So, good idea,bad idea, improvements
Thanks
