Chem Dog

Strain: Chem Dog

Growth:
Slow and Spindly. She takes a lot of training in veg and likes to fill in her lower sections with short, thin branches that need to be removed before flower. This cleaning up throughout is necessary for proper light penetration prior to flower. Once flowering, the plant benefits from early staking and having her branches secured. She seems to grow better un-topped but her yields are much higher when topped. When topped, she turns into a dreadlock-style bush. Un-topped, her branches are a little sturdier and put out larger buds. Watch out for hermies. If stressed, she tends to throw out bananas even early in flower. It seems as though this happens more when topped than left un-topped.

Nutes:
Does not mind a heavy feeding. We go full strength on all of our nutes throughout both her veg and flower stages. She is hard to burn but will yellow off quickly if nutrients are in deficiency.

Yield: Lower than average. 4-5 oz from 5 gal pot 3ft plant

Bag Appeal:
Buds are extremely resinous. The sugar leaves have long resin glands all the way to the tips, so no-matter the trim job, all of the buds are completely sugar coated. The buds aren’t large, but they are very dense so weight looks deceivingly small. We have had the plant throw out a pink hue when left a little longer in flower. These buds with the pink hue are gorgeous when dried.

Smell: Sour Body Oder with a hint of rotting/over-ripe fruit that gives the sour stink smell sour fruit undertones.

Taste: Spicy/Peppery

The High: Knock you down stone. Lethargic, heavy body high. Muscles go weak and pain fades away. A hit-you-before-you-exhale type of high. Good for insomnia, muscle tension/pain and anxiety.

Hey I'm in the process of writing a medical cannabis e-book about different strains for different illnesses so patients can have an better idea of strains that work for them and don't have to buy a lot of different grams from a dispensary or dealer before they find one that works for them.I came across a couple of your smoke reports and was wondering if you would be ok with me using some of them and possibly a pic of the bud for my book since I can't physically grow out 100's of strains and phenotypes and find people with different ailments to let them try it out. I would put Thanks to: Gonzo in it under the report if you would like or just do anonymous if you don't want to be mentioned. Thanks for your consideration, peace n pot.

Hey is this chem dog from ghs? I bought a 10 pack of them if so and haven't been able to find anything about the strain on here till now, nice review

If this is the GHS version You are lucky, I got the sativa pheno which looks NOTHING like this. I'll have to try the other 4 seeds.

i got a clone of this, and have grown out a few times. this is the last, as i am tired of the weak, viney, limbs, that cant even support themselves, prior to budding! lmao. mine were nute sensitive, and lots of popcorn all over the place. not one single large bud. largest maybe two knuckels off index finger size. potency is not that great, ether, as not the taste. its been fun. a learning exp. but in a week, i chop the last two, and move on...

i grew it. its good smoke. my nugs were small, but hard. i dont like the way it grows like vines, so i let it go. mine was a satva high. i hope my "extreama" seeds, dont swing to this side of pheno, with vine-like limbs.
