I just got 2 fem cheese seeds from amsterdam. I have looked for info on the net finding stuff that contradicts what other sites say... One site said it was just a cross between "master Kush " and skunk ?? and medicinal effects were completely different, whatever but I have no experience with feminized seed and have heard bad things. Any advice is appreciated.

Feminized seeds get an undeserved bad rap. In my small room it is all I will grow. Good genetics are important. Dina fem and Female seeds are reliable. Hermies will be a non issue with good genetics. Here is a feminized plant at 4 weeks 12/12paste 009.jpg

Very nice girl, . These are supposed to be direct from amsterdam... I did not go get them from amsterdam myself soooo who knows really. My guy at the seed bank cracked open the case in front of me, a gold packet with a medical symbol on it. Damn wish I got the name. I will try and see what happens. I only have females in all my rooms. Not sure what exactly people don't like about them. Ima start cracking these ina cpl days.

Thanks

Fems seeds from good breeders are definetly reliable, unfortunately greenhouse seeds dont seem to be part of them, and moreover i heard bad storys about growing seeds bought in the dam (but i didnt understood exacly how you got them)...However on the genetics i can say to u that the original cheese is just a pheno of skunk that made its own way in england during the 90s which was grown and brought to the light by a movement called exodus...However really donno about greenhouse seeds cheese but if someday u want to try some other seed banks i can confirm that big buddha cheese (cheese x afhan) is very good smoke...so concluding your question the true cheese should be a skunk pheno, though a masterxcheese will definetly produce some very interesting plants...However real cheese should be a pretty strong ass kicking strain with more body stone in its effect...

The original cheese came from United Kingdom in an area called Exodus therefore the exodus cut. Cheese is basically a skunk #1 that mutated. Feminized seeds inherently have a predisposition to hermaphrodite when subject to too much stress. Other than that if your kind to your plant and the breeder is exeptional it should not be the case. I myself predominantly grow feminized seeds not unless a strain i am coveting is not in that form. So since Cheese and skunk #1 are related you can grow it the same way. And the beauty of your situation is that they are good beginning strains because they are forgiving of new grower mistakes. Best of luck.

So yea, I put those seeds to open 4 days ago, the next day it had a huge main root about 1/2 inch and today they are standing about 2" tall. I am impressed with these feminized seeds already and excited to see how it turns out. Hard to see but these are the x2 "Cheese" baby girls with other stuff going on in the backround. cheesebaby.jpg
