Check out my new grow... is time for flowring??

I'm a first time grower, I have two plants 6 weeks old. I'm getting a 400watt mh and hps light today. (There on a 125watt fluorescent!!!) Should I start flowring when I lights come,,, and what do you think please give me feed back. :leaf:

dont know the strain, but one I got out of some good and the other just a bag. :weed:

Those are some nice plants. If it were me, I would veg a while longer, maybe 2 more weeks under the new light before flipping to 12/12. They will grow 4x as fast under the new lights and the yield will be better. If you are in a hurry you can certainly flower when the lights arrive although yield will be less..

I totally agree. I used to use florescent, and when I swapped over to the 600w hps I let them veg under 24/0 for 2 weeks before flower and they really took off. My fixtures were the t8 40w x4 2 cool white 1x plant 1x daylight.

I guess it all depends on your space and how much room you have too. Your plants will explode with growth once you get your 400watt going. If I were you and I am a 1st time grower as well; use the HPS light and veg it with that and gradually change your timer from 24/0 to 22/2 to 20/4 etc....until you get to 12/12 into flowering in about 2-3 weeks. As if you are giving the effect of season weather change. If that makes sense? I just put mine into Flowering 5 days ago because I dont have much room. I vegged mine for 50 days. I just put them on the new 400watt mh wow is that light bright!! I will post pics and about a week or two. Hoping that they are both female

Now I can use my fluorescent for cloning.
