cheap way to stop the smell temporary

at the moment i dont have the funds untill the end of the month so i cant buy an extractor with a filter as of yet. i can smell my plants from downstairs as they are a week into flowering is there a temporary way to stop the smell

they have stuff that absorb the oders in the home depot cleaning section of the store,urnil smell,or apple,thats the one i got

it comes in a plastic can with a screw on lid so you can take off the top or drill holes in top for less intense
