Well, what i always do is look thru the entier site and put everything u need in ur shooping cart and when ur doing shopping just click the checkout link and it will tell u how much ur shipping will be before u even make the purchase, but u might have to fill out the info 1st.

pump isnt exspensive or heavy so what you think? 4 pounds costed you?
Im sur it wont be that much 10-20 bucks, If u have a hydro store close to you u can get it there with out paying for shipping. I f place a order i like to order everything i need so i dont have to pay for shipping 3-4 differant oreders and just pay for one shipping cost.IMO

cool, but i thought its the heavier the more shipping

so ur saying it would be smart to order everything all at once?

i got a question for you, your rubbermaid part that holds plants, you have those 2 fittings, could i use these white 1's from a flood table i got, point 1 down and up, tubes on each end, 1 attached to pump?

Lets say that u order to pumps, its cheaper to order them in one box than to splitt them up, they go by size too not just weight.

so ur saying it would be smart to order everything all at once?
I think it allways better to ship everything together in stead of splitting it up.

Im purdy sure it will work just fine cuz u only need it the water level to fill up untill hit hits the over flow then turn off. So as soon as ur pump turns on time it and see how long it takes to fill ur table to the over flow and then stop the timer. Thats how long u need to flood ur plants. Ur pump should only take a few minites to reach ur over flow drain.

Just make sure ur flood level is about 3-4" up the pot/net and thats all u need to flood to, it does not need to go all the way up the pot.

I wanted to show Roll It Up my New small scale flood system.

Take a look at the way i have put this together and tell me what u think. This is purdy much the same as my 1st one but with a small table and rez. Plus i like this one a lil better cuz its black and fits nicely in a small space.

CIMG4327.JPG

This is all the flood and drain line also with sum door hole cutters.

CIMG4540.JPG

I cut Two 2" holes in the top of the lid to the rex tank for fill and drain lines. Becare full when u cut hole and make sure there the right size u need cuz once there are cut its a pain in the ass to recut.

CIMG4078.JPG

I think this is a 1" hole for the fill and drain lines, cut in to the flood table and be VERY CAREFULL with this clear plastic and not to crack it when u are pushing on the drill. I like to put a piece of 2x4 under it so u have sumthing to kush'n the drill so u dont crack the plastic.

CIMG4536.JPG

After u drill side on the fill and drain lines and tight'n them finger thight.

CIMG4541.JPG

Then slide on the flood table on top of the tank lid.

CIMG4542.JPGCIMG4543.JPG

This is the top and side view, it should look like this.

CIMG4546.JPGCIMG4549.JPG

Like on the 1st page drill small holes for the pump power line and air line.
It should look like this when ur done. I also use a razor after i drill the hole to cut out the slots for the lines.

CIMG4556.JPGCIMG4554.JPGCIMG4551.JPG

This is what they look like when they are in the new home. I have 4 Hog strains in 6" pots and flood them every 3hrs and they love it in there. I hope everybody like my pimp ass flood and drain set-up, cuz i do. I like the black even more than the white. All i need is 3 more system to have my perpetual SoG flower rooom.

Please let me know how u like it and leave any ??????? on my set-up!!!!

ima just follow ur set up, looks simple enough.
so you flood every 3 hrs, but for how long are the flood pumps running?
do you have the airstone pump working 24/7?

.

COOL THANK ALLOT!!!!!!!

so you flood every 3 hrs, but for how long are the flood pumps running?
Yes i flood every 3hrs, I run my pump long enough to get the water level up to where i need it. I have a small flood table so i does not take long for it to fill. This is in veg. stage of growth lighted by a 400w MH 24/7

Be carefull if u are using RW and not to get the cube wet when watering ur plants. Keep the water level 1/2" below the cube.

Yep, sure do!!!!!

Really?! i thought the cube was supposed to be saturated in water... so the rockwool doesnt deliver the water and nutri to the plants?

are those pellets easier to use than rockwool?

1st off, RW is the devil. LOL. If u can master the art of RW more power to
ya. I hate RW, I have moved on to Rapid Rooters to start my seeds.

In my set-up that u see in this thread are clones that have been rooted in an aeroplnics system. They have no medium just roots cuming out of the stem. Once I got them ready I placed them in pots with hydrotun filled to the top. If I had them in a medium u have to make sure u don't get the medium wet cuz it will caz root rot. U should only flood up to 1/2" below the medium or u will
have over watering problems.

Just make sure that u have a bunch of root hanging out the bottom of ur medium b4 placeing they in ur flood system. The roots that arehanging out of the cube are called feeder roots and theese roots can stay very wet at times. But the roots that are close to the stem can't take up as much water and require more oxygen.

Hope this make sense or helped a lil'

Sweet, keep me posted on ur RW cubes. They are a pain in the ass but once
u master it it will get easyer.

How many seeds and what strain do u have?

Is this ur first grow?

I'm fixing to start flower this weekend and take
clone from my 4 Hog plants. Hope I get roots in 14 days!!
