So basically I have no idea if this is even relevant on here anywhere or not
but I don't have money for an expensive microscope or anything and it's kind of hard to find a jewellers loupe around my town so I bought a magnifying glass that was only like 5x and that didn't work that good ( all thought my buds looked pretty great
.. So I needed something different ... And I found the perfect solution , you know those cheap laser pointers for cat toys ? Well if you take out the top piece In it there is a tiny lens that you can put on your iPhone or android and use to zoom in real close 
just thought it was a useful tip to see when your buds are ready 
even tho I'm a friggin newb ! Lol but here's a few pics of what I mean :
