I use display boards....don't think you have to worry about it catching on fire...as long as you vent etc.

i always say check out resale shops for furniture always easier to mylar the walls and seal it with some caulk

word. I picked up an enclosed entertainment center for the salvation army for twenty bucks.
Not too sure what you mean by cheap. But someone ought to find this useful:

1. Re-inforce frame (if needed) to support heavy lights, etc.
2. Line the inside with your favorite "Light proof / Reflective" surface, or paint.
3. Make any, appropriate, holes for ventilation / ducting, etc.
Two of these puppies can be attached (back-to-back) with a re-inforcing strip joining the two. Then just cut the backs out and voila, you have a DoubleWide! If you make a "Double", I highly recommend bracing the "missing wall area" with a big "X" made of guy wires for support!

affordable, easy DIY project, you can make it any size to fit anywhere and with the black/white its light proof and reflective on the inside.
