I have learned the more AIRor OXYGEN taht I have in my tank, the FASTER the grow. I used to use one 4 inch round airstone, now I use two 12 inch long airstones on a DUAL Connector air pump.

Thats what i need i have a tiny ass air stone maybe an inch long i get payed tomorrow im broke im going to try and get one that stretches across the system its a D.I.Y jobby its very small but im not looking to get massive plants maybe 1 ft high and just bud them b/c i also have an outside grow of 5 
and an inside of 4.

I try to follow this chart, except I add 150 for what is already in my water, plus I add another 75 to 100 just to grow strong.
Seedlings, Early Sprouts 100 to 250
Early Vegging 300 to 400
Full Vegetation 450 to 700
Early Blooming 750 to 950
Full Mature Blooms 1000 to 1600
When you say for what is already in your water i assume you mean the ppm from the tap? What is your nute solution looking like as in what part Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium? Im using the Floragro series and have been following their sudgested ammounts of each using the calcualator they have on their site and adding in 1/2 of what they say. Any down side to that?

I am extremely newbie when it comes to nutrients roseman could you explain the numbers for me do i need to get something that measures ppm? Is there any cheap subs for this?

I don't have any measurement devices except a liquid pH indicator. I just follow the directions on the bottle of nutes (Well, except I only use floramicro and floragro for veg and then floramicro and florabloom for flower) and just change weekly, always keeping in mind to use 1/4-1/2 strength for starting clones.

I dont think you need nutes to start clones
If they have at least an inch or two of roots, they're ready to absorb nutes in a weak concentration so they no longer have to rely upon tearing themselves apart for food.

CALCIUM 6%, MAGNISUM 2%, SULPHUR 3%,
IRON .12%, MANGANESE .05%,
AND BORON, COPPER, CHLORIDE,

BLOOM N-P-K 5:15:14
(NOTE A SMALL AMOUNT OF NITROGEN IS STILL IN THERE)

Out of the tap, my water is 150, so IF I want 600 of ppm, I have to have 750 ppm, including the pater ppm.
IF what oyua re using works for you, then go with it. It is always better to use a little less, than a little more.

I did two successful grows with NO ppm meter. Just follow the instrctions on the nutrient bottle. When the tank or plants drink one gallon of water, and you have 6 gallons of water, just add 1/6 the amount or dose of nutes back when you add one gallon of water back.
Chemical fertilizers or nutrients show their nutrient content with three bold numbers on the package. These numbers represent three different compounds: Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potash (Potassium), which we can also describe with the letters N-P-K. The three numbers listed on fertilizer labels correspond to the percentage or ratio of these materials found in the nutes.
What does each nutrient do? In addition to other properties, Nitrogen helps plant foliage to grow strong. Phosphorous helps roots and flowers grow and develop. Potassium (Potash) is important for overall plant health.

this is what i just bought im waiting for them in the mail. Last night i just droped my plants from 24-0 to 18-6 and gave them fresh water

Hey man, is the res completely light proof? if not, you will start seeing root rot and algae.

I have not changed my water in 3 weeks. its my first DWC and my pH has stayed at 6.0 the entire time and my ppm fluctuated from 1100 up to 1250 and now its dropped to about 1050, and I will be changing the res as soon as the ladies have almost finished drinking all of the res up. I would add water if the ppms went up but if the ppm remains and the ladies are drinking and eating at a good rate they can finish most of the res off and prevent wasting of nutrents solutions to res changes.
I use technaflora nutrients which have great pH buffers and theres no slimy buildups or strange algaes or nothing, very healthy roots too.
Res needs to be light tight.

I'm not seeing this at all with my outdoor DWC tomato nor my indoor DWC cannabis. I have a little algae in the outdoor basil *BUT* for some odd reason it's only on the underside of the lid, the reservoir itself is clean.
