Changing 12/12 times

My fiancee and I discussed doing 12/12 with lights on from 9pm to 9am. Well I'm a freaking idiot and pulled the trigger to days ago to flip and my dumbass was too high and started lights on from 9am-9pm. My initial plan is to either walk it back by 30 min each day so tonight cut the lights at 8:30pm and then start the lights again at 8:30am. Or walk it forward. If I walk it back, it'll take 24 days and the plants will only be getting 11.5 hours of daylight and 12 hours of dark. If I walk it forward it will be 12.5 hours of light and 12 hours of dark.

Or because I'm just two days in, am I good to just flip the times now?

I would change it now without tapering to the new schedule and before they have been in flower for long.

No need to panic … run in dark a little longer reset timer to desired time. Keep it as is no flip flopping cycle after you correct.
