Change flowering time in small increments every day?

I HATE my flowering time schedule. Basically I want to change it, but I don't want to run out and i put plants in/out about every 4 weeks so I keep a constant supply going. The lights are set on a dual outlet timer that controls both and is just the manual one that has a click for every 15 min.

My question is what if I start to slowly move the time back by 15 min every day? Would they get stressed or have any negative impact? I don't want to have to harvest everything and start fresh with a new time. I want to change it a lot so this will take weeks clicking the timer once for every day.
Has anyone tried this? Do you think I will stress and hermie my girls?
I appreciate any ideas

Honestly dude i aint got a clue but I seen guys leave their lights on for three days late into flower, leave them off, forget to turn lights on, repeated, no end of fuck ups and not one bloody hermie.
Chances are you could probably change your schedule over night and they wouldn't miss a beat

It seems like since thats the way light works in nature (outdoors) that it would create less stress. the sun drops less than 15 min of light a day and some of the best plants ive seen are outdoors. I actually suggested this very same thing to a couple of hydro store guys and they all said the same thing.

I'm not exactly sure what your asking, sorry for the confusion. Are saying you want to slowly shorten the photo period and will that effect the plant? If thats what your asking then IMO all it will do is take that much longer to flower. If your asking something else again I apologize.

It's cool. I meant my time is set to 7 pm - 7 am. I was asking to move it little by little until it is at 12 am - 12 pm.
In case your wondering i started moving it by 30 min each day for 2 days til I was at 8 pm - 8 am and I said fuck it and just changed it from midnight to noon like I wanted. That was a couple days ago and everything seems fine. Harvest is in 6 weeks. If something goes horribly wrong I'll update this.
Turns out my electricity is charged at a cheaper rate for the first 17 kwh of the day, so why not take advantage.

Some people late in the cycle, like 3 weeks left till bloom, will cut the time on gradually so that the last 3 day's or so they are completely in the dark. Some seed companies recommend this actually, to tell the plant the season is over, and to maximize THC output. Another advantage is the more you cut the time, the more energy you will save. I did the 3 day's darkness thing, but did not notice any spectacular results. I am seriously thinking of doing a 2 week thing this crop, say from 12 to 2 in 1 hour increments until totally dark for the last 2 or 3 days. It will not cause hermies, IMO, which are mostly caused by genetics, or shock caused by overfeeding. Also when you shift from say 18 on to 12 on in one shot has never caused a problem for me, or anyone I know that grows. Just do what you need to do to get your time straight all at once. I kinda rambled on here, but I am pretty high. Sorry .

I swapped my mutiple-strain flowering room from 12 on during the day to 12 on during the night. I just left the lights on for 24 hours to make the switch. Then turned them off at the right time. No problems at all, no herm issues. I could have also left them in the dark for 24 hours. As long as there is no physical stress, chemical stress, or light leaks; you should be good. (When flowering plants are in the dark, they are releasing hormones. If you inturrupt the dark-cycle, you inturrupt the hormone-cycle; and then you will probably get hermaphrodite plants.) Mmm'kay?

8.5 cents per KWH for me. Curious, what are you guys paying and what state would that be?

Regarding your time change, you're the master of your garden. Do what you need to do and deal with whatever happens. I'm sure it will be a non-event though.

Thnx for the help guys. I'm happier with the time change and the sky hasn't fallen yet.
As for my bill, the first 17 kwh of the day is at 6.9 cents and the rest of the day is at 8.2 cents per kwh
