The flowering plants have been on 12/12 since seed

Damn I wouldn't have guessed that! Have you vegged any in the party cups yet? I vegged mine for about 3 weeks and topped at the second node let them recover and threw them into 12/12.. I hope they turn out okay!!

That's the way your supposed to do it.
I just wanted to see how this worked and so far it's working well.
The only thing is from now on I'll be working with clones
so my 12/12 from seed was a one time thing.
Overall I would say topping 12/12 from seed at the 2nd node
was worth it and I'll get way more yield than not topping
But I would still recommend the way you did it with plenty of recovery time.

Your probably right the other plant I tried this with was a Super Lemon Haze and it got tall as well.

Well even though I vent most of it out there is still a high level
of C02 being emitted via the bottles all the time.
I can tell it's working because they a ton more water and heat don't hurt as bad.
Plus they really frosted up shortly after I started it's use.
I'm sold.
Now a real C02 setup would be ten times better I'm sure.

They spend 1 to 2 month in the incubator.
Then they take 10 to 15 days to fruit.
Not bad at all. After the pinning stage they grow crazy fast.
