CH9 Aroma Indoor Grow Question??

Hello there from Southern USA! I have a question about a particular strain which I received as a freebie seed from attitude seed bank. ----- CH9 AROMA

I did a 3 plant grow this past "season" indoors under 3 400 watt HPS lights. TGA Qrazy Train, TGA 3D, and the freebie seed "CH9 Aroma" Both TGA seeds and CH9 Aroma were grown out for 1 month vegetative 18/6 and then switched to 12/12. After 52 days I harvested 3D, 60 days Qrazy train, yet it is now day 70 and CH9 Aroma is still flowering (might I add fairly nice sized colas) but no sign of a brown pistil anywhere; only white pistils with no wilting. I checked out the CH9 website and "Aroma" is supposed to be a 8 week(56 days) flowering strain . Anybody had any experience with this or any other CH9 strains? I'm not really worried about it since the buds are still filling out and plumping up, but I would kinda like to know a time frame to harvest within!!

Hey, just my opinion...dont go by pistils alone as some strains wont indicate the same way. Get a 30x-60x magnifier with built in LED light, $30 in Canada and probably $10 down in the US, and check the trichomes carefully. Trichomes are the little mushroom like structures all over the bud and leaves which is where the medicine is found. Best full proof method to determine maturity no doubt. Trichomes will start off clear, then go to milky, then amber. Everyone has their method...I prefer 20-40% amber trichomes and no more otherwise it could ruin the crop. Hope this answers your ?

Ended up getting 4.25 ounces off of it after 81 days flowering. Turned out to be some good creeper smoke is say moderate THC level...definitely not super high, but definitely not low either.
