Depends what you are using it for and what type of fan it is. If you don't already own it i wouldnt buy it though unless you are getting a deal. If you get the fan, hook it up to speed controller and go at it..lol.
If you havent bought one yet, check out horticulturesource.com. The have a blowout sale where a S&P TD-200x for $130 pushing 478 and very good at static pressure. They are nice quiet, compact, inline fans. I use 2 and paid $170 a piece. I use a 200X 478cfm for a light tube and 478cfm more for exhaust and my cab is only 36 cubic feet. Overkill yes but I have complete control via speed controller.
My build is in my sig, and there is a thread dedicated to these fans on RIU started by southflorida called "these fans are rhe real deal" with good info.
