CFLs for early veg?

First grow. My growspace is 20"x23"x45".. I already have a 400w hps but I am leaning more towards using some CFLs at least for the first couple of weeks.. maybe first month?. I am going to start from 5 seeds and will choose the healthiest female to flower.

Any recommendations for an array of CFLs? Wattage? Number of bulbs?

or would I be better off to buy a MH conversion bulb for these early weeks...?

I compared CFL to MH during early growth and MH definitely works better all around. My first grow was CFL only, and my 2nd was HPS/MH and I'll never go back.
