Thanks! Never heard of t-55's, what's that all about? The quality is damn good as expected. As good as all (or most) of the street hydro i used to buy back in the day for a crazy $100 or more per 7 grams!

I never get notified when someone replies to me. Anyone else have that problem on here? Anyway, I think they are called t-55's. You can check 'em out at HTG supply on ebay. They are the 'Tek Two' horticultural lights.

great results. from the pictures it seems like the lights are some distance from the plants. have you considered placing them closer to the plants and lining your walls with aluminum foil to reflect more light back to the plant? just a thought based on what I have read on this forum. i'm a newbie and am growing plants in a closet as well. I do not understand the debate between cfls and hps lighting. it seems that cfls give more lumens per watt and better spectrum control. I would be very happy if some experienced grower could post a logical argument for this question. but it seems like you have it figured out from the looks of your plant.that seems like a pretty good yield..I used fluorescent grow lights back in the late 70's to grow plants in a closet but this seems like a whole new ballgame.

Looks tasty Concord :-), but 20-weeks? What do u think is taking them so Long?

Grown under 24-40 watt mixed spectrum for a total of 960 watts...and all those bulbs were a pain so finally switched to HPS.

thanks.

using aluminum foil as a reflector is a bad idea. It can create hot spots where the light gets concentrated and burns the plants, plus it's not a very efficient reflector anyways. Painting the walls flat white is a much better option, and I believe reflects about 90% of the light. The only thing superior is mylar, which looks like aluminum foil but is completely different, and reflects about 95% light i think.
