CFL,s or HPS

I have started my grow and need some advice.
I have in the past grown my plants on HPS lights only and need advice on using CFL bulbs for the veg period.
I have a closet grow (wardrobe). is it just as good to use CFL bulbs for the first month on 24/7 to get the veg period. Or are the HPS bulbs the better option. I know that they use less electric and give off less heat but are they as good.

You can use cfl in veg.
They are very efficient. Not much heat n low energy
You can get them closer to the plant

If i didn't already have my lighting situation worked out - i would probably go with floros for veg and HPS for flowering.

I dont like HPS for veg. My girls absolutly love the MH for veg. Plus in veg the girls need more blue.

These are pics of my grow space (wardrobe) and this is going to be my third grow in there but i have always gone for HPS all the way but the cost is high.
How many CFL,s would i need for this space with 6 plants ?.
The grow area measures aprox 3.5 ft wide by 2ft deap and hight is aprox 7ft.
It has since been covered with white plastic sheeting all around the walls to reflect the light and this seems to work very well.

how about a small MH? i just ordered a 250 watter. should be arriving today.

Hey fdd
have not been on here since before christmas. Hope you had a great festive holiday m8.
Do the MH bulbs use a lot of power , i have not used these before.

it uses 250 watts. this is my first time using one.

i was worried because my wife freaks out when she sees big grow lights. all she sees is a bigger electric bill. i was somewhat nervous that this might be too much. i was wrong. it's almost kinda "cute".
