CFL question

Those are only 27 watts. The spectrum will work fine, 6500K is even better, but disreguard the "100 watts", it's meaningless. 27 watts, is the actual wattage that you go by, when growing. Use at least 2 per plant, more is even better. Once they get bigger than 8" or so, go with higher wattage bulbs, for best results. :)

ok i saw higher wattage like 42w bulbs but they were only 2700k. and thanks for the tip

i also have some 23w 2700k bulbs, those work well for the flowering stage ..correct?

2700K isn't the optimum spectrum, but'll still work fine. People veg under HPS, all the time, with excellent results, and those are close to 2700K. 42 watt 2700K bulbs, will blow away 23 watt, 5000K or 6500K(optimum), for sure. 2700K(approx) is recognized as the best choice for flowering, but IMO, a mix is best. Put some 5000K+ bulbs in there, for more balanced output. :)
