CFL predicament

Good luck with your grow jbrain, is this your first? I live in england and it's quite hard to find decent lights over here, we don't have walmart or home depot. It might help if you get a few more red spectrum lights for flowering, I don't know but I would of thought a few more would improve your yield.
Yes, its my first real grow. I have a 400w hps that im going to use during flowering. I need to go back to work already because I keep checking on them every 10mins it seems.

The 150w CFL's are made by Eco-light. Slim, what size do you mean by massive? Check out plantlighting.com to see the bulbs I'm using.

The cfls i'm talking about are about 30cm long and 125w. I've found a decent 250w hps setup for a similar price to my cfl setup so I might get that instead, but i'd need a cfl for propagation anyway.

That's right. You'll have more heat, and more electric used though, I think a longer life with CFL's though.
