cfl light vs. heat HELP please

hey everyone first time poster here, so anyway i germinated my seed and planted it in a coco coin about two days ago. i'm worried that my seed might get heat stress because the temp. is reading 26-28 degrees celsius where the lights are placed now, the humidity is about 52% should i move my lights further away to reduce the heat because im worried if i do it might not get enough light they are only cfls after all. the lights are about an inch or two above the propagation case. help please guys i really don't want my seed to die. also im using an electric blanket when in the dark cycle to keep the temp. at 22 degrees is that a good idea. also how moist should i keep the coco coins im worried i may have given it too much water :(

thats fine, heat stress is like 85+ with a few other variables like not enough co2. your lights are fine but 2inches away is good.

85 degrees F lmao. i mean 85 degrees C would be bad too.... but just let it stay under at least 80 degrees F.

yeah thats what i thought lol , by the way i planted a critical jack the other day. i started by germinating in a paper towel then i put it in coco in a humidity dome but after six days nothing was happening so i just thought it must be dead. when i took the seed out and looked at it , it had grown a bit but only a really small amount, why do you guys think this may have happened ?

i would not have moved the seed if it showed signs of growth. sometimes the seed does not fully open choking the top of the sprout a pair of tweezers could help if that is the problem but i think alittle patience is what is needed give it some more time :bigjoint:

hey guys I planted a seed of freeze cheese this time instead of critical jack its been three days and its already sprouted so everything's good now :D
