CFL Light Socket

Hey guys!

Does anyone know where I can get UK Plug Sockets that can hold my CFL bulb? I’m building my PC Grow (will create a seperate post) and have seen people plug them directly into the extension. See below for photos to help!

Amazon is your best bet. Don't know cost, it could be easier to make your own. Also I think your foil lining may cause hotspots. GL

Hey dude!

That was yesterday, I’ve taken the lining out at the moment until I find a CFL socket, I’ve found some online but they are at 90• angle which is a bit annoying... I’ll do some more searching.

I didn’t the front of of the box today, blacked it all off and refitted the extension with ties. Looks better.

How do you suggest wiring it up myself? I must admit my wiring skills are limited when it comes to multiple, I managed to do 1 bulb yesterday when fooling around but wouldn’t know how to wire multiple without having multiple plug sockets...

You can get a 3way junction box which will give you 3 outputs from 1 socket, about a quid from Wilko or Screwfix and you can get the lamp holders from them as well, it's as simple as wiring a plug. You could attach the lamp holders to a small flat baking tray. Hit poundland they have loads of decent stuff and carry some nutes and a little hydro stuff

Thanks man! Poundland for hydro and nutes?! Haha, I like it I picked up 4 warm light 1320 lumen Phillips CFLs today.. I will get another 4 Bright whites for Vegging tomorrow. I'll try and find a junction box too.

I've not had any problems "yet" with the poundland nutes, but I've found that each shop doesn't carry the full line so I have to go to a couple of shops, the coir doesn't make the claimed 10lt more like 4lt.
