CFL help?

Hey, So Im planing to construct a grow box 2 and half feet by 2 and a half feet in depth by three feet tall.. I was told to use CFLs I was curious as to what lights you guys suggest i should be using..and how many would be needed in that amount of space?

I use 350 watts of various sizes (from 28 watt, a few 45's a few 55's a 65 etc) scattered around semi strategically in a 1.5 x 1.5 box.. If I were you I would shoot for 400 watts in that space, with some of the big ones up top, smaller ones around the sides etc.

one thing you don't need to do is have all that running at once.. you add lights as your grow get's bigger.. Start with one CFL and keep adding as your grow requires.. The ONE way to milk some efficiency out of the darn things.

Use the 6400k spectrums for vegging.. and add the 2700k's for flowering as you go, and keep the 6400's in there too.

that's one idea that works well.

Okay, I plan on growing some auto flower stains.. I heard that I could run the whole cycle off of one light the whole way threw ? not the case or should i be switching them up to increase or better my yeild? Also how many plants you think i could grow comfortabley in a space that big?
