For veg you will want to use 6500k daylight I like the 26 watters and for flowering you will want the 2700k warm or soft white I like the 42 waatters for these, and they are sold at wal-mart....

I read and understand all the math. I know the PH levels, the moisture levels and especially the water acidity levels. But when it comes down to it I post the same questions to see the myriad of different answers and A high percentage of them are totally theoretically strong and most of them are probably correct. But my theory is if you have 2, 3 or 4 times sunlight in the space of a rubbermaid I think that KISS is a great answer.
Keep it simple you are talking about a WEED as in grows like one. As long as you dont have whack problems like water that is not acidic enough, or soil that starves or rots your roots minimal care is really needed, WAter and sunlight is usually enough to produce very nice results as can be seen in my pics on my profile using 10 cfls , Miracle grow siol and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to my reverse osmosis water (water in my area will killl a plant quicker than a torch.) hope this helps.
