Ok soo im not a complete noob, ive grown in soil indoors and outdoors, not really looking for arguing, i like my little setup, just want to make a grow log showing progress from 1 150w mini lotus since i had a hard time finding info on it, so mystery seed is in a dwc bucket (home made whole setup is pretty ghetto, all homemade with scraps laying around except the bulbs) ,ww x bb will posted later as im still getting the hang of a dwc, before i try more clones yada yada, i do have my baby the ww x bb in a small veg box in soil but plan on running clones out of the dwc, what i have mystery plant in atm, i know she got nute burn 2 days before 12/12 and has been getting some color back, take a look at the pics, using the mini lotus whole lifecycle on both (1 each) ww x bb 1 week old, mystery plant 1 1/2 weeks into 12/12, mystery plant im surprised is still alive, long story but it went bushy as hell considering mom was about 7 feet i lucked out bigtime, more or less wondering if its in schedule with its bloom

What kind of light is that ? I would keep it as close as possible.
Its a 125 w 9500 lumen mini lotus cfl i bought off ebay dual spectrum, in my setup im a little crunched for space so a mh or hps was out of the question because of heat issues, i lowered this light almost down into the canopy and it produces minimal heat so i havent burned anything yet, but this far along i just felt like it cant hurt to ask questions

Ok this is mystery bean in week 4 if flower, it was a clone that i took before i was prepared for growing really so it had a really bad stretch, so in a attempt to slow it down i chopped the main stem at a random spot this was the outcome, shes had multiple issues in her life and is still surprisingly hanging in by the hairs of her chiny chin chin.....

I think u will be just fine tbh (besides the hard life your lady been trough ;) )

Yea im hoping she turns for the better and not for the worse, had a serious ph problem was waaaaaay high on the alkaline side of things got it down to about 6.0 i think (wont know forsure till ph meter comes), any ideas why she branched out like that, i cut the main stem at a uneven node meaning 1 leaf/branch at the node i cut.

Ok since this has had a ton of views and hardly any responses i want to ask a question, has any1 had a plant ever develop like this one has? As i previously stated the clone had a terrible stretch at its beginning, which was my fault i had the light waaaay to far away from the plant, so in a desperate attempt to slow growth i attempted to top the plant, but this is the thing, where i topped it, it wasnt exactly where a person normally would, instead of cutting it where there was a "Y" in the stem, or in other words where there are 2 leaf sets and 2 new branches forming, i cut it at a spot where there was just 1 leaflet which caused it to stop dead in its tracks for a main cola, and instead all lower branches shot out and up, but the main stem never branched into 2 it just grew like a menorah instead with a huge open space in the middle of the plant (which actually worked out quite well for me being i use 1 giant cfl bulb) but am wondering if any1 else has ever tried this or even had it happen by accident as i cannot find anything similar anywhere and whether or not it could be a trusted way to continue to grow clones, i kinda like it because i can hang my bulb right into the center of the plant to get the most of my bulb. Any input on this is greatly appreciated.

Hey Zig, I see you are not getting much of a response. I am by no means an expert, but I can see a few things you might being be doing wrong. (Did you get you ph tester yet?) use it daily! Keep that water around 5.8 - 5.9.

She looks like she has some nute burn. What are you doing with nutes? What ppm?

I think you are going to have algae issues with your bucket. You have a white bucket and it's not wrapped. That bucket sitting naked is letting light into your water.

Yea i did get a ph test kit, its been at about 5.8 - 6.2, and ive been cleaning the bucket about once every 2 weeks, or every time i change/feed, nutes have been a bit of a issue, i was using water soluble mg nutes at about 1/2 strength, for a little while till i received my ff nutes, i had a gallon of hydro nutes i got from a buddy, when i 1st got the clone, unfortunately he mixed it at dbl strength and that is where the nute burn came into play, the nutes i started bloom with were water soluble and i used a mixture of 10/60/10 with 12/18/18 each at half dose for 1 gallon of water for the first 3 weeks, its a 4 gallon bucket but i use about 2 1/2 - 3 gallons of water so i figured id go light on them once again, which actually seemed to do better during bloom than the ff has so far, itll be the start of week 6 on wednesday and progress slowed considerably after i started the ff.

I would defiantly use more aluminum foil, thats the key to good indoor growing..........................

Yea im waiting for this plant to get done flowering, i have diamond mylar now, the box its in now was originally gonna be a veg box, i read somewhere before that alot of "blue" promoted more females, but i decided to just bite the bullet and order feminized seeds instead, those will be the next round in the box and the mylar will be in with a full ventilation system, the blue that u see in the pics is floating floor underlayment i used because it has a plastic layer on it (kinda reflective?), and in the winter itll provide a little more insulation for the boxs temp, i will also be running 2 possibly 3 of these bulbs for bloom on my next batch but am trying to take it kinda slow for now till i know how many clones i can run at once in there if i just go from maybe a week or 2 of veg and straight into bloom in that space. Considering a hps but they run so hot i dont know if i dare to in that space it about 2.5' x 2.5' x5'

My vents are 4" running from 2 boxes into 1 line with a 4" inline duct fan at the connect of both lines, but really doesnt seem to make much of a draft inside the boxs, however i havent got them fully installed atm, just did a little trial run one day before i got slammed on my work schedule and just havent had the time to get it done since, i figure by the time this plant is done, work will have slowed down and deer season will be over, i should have adequate time by then to make my mods to the cabs and get things going in full swing:)
