Cfl growing

I've seen this one before and made it 2 weeks ago. its pretty bright but I also saw somewhere after I made it on a thread that this type of lighting was wrong. and the lights need to be in a cluster like a ball. any suggestions? Pics to come soon.

Is growing in a standard lamp better than no hood at all? I'm assuming it would be, you could always just get some dirt cheap ones?

I put 6 bulbs on y splitters onto a 8 outlet surge protector thing. 4 of those get connected to a piece of plywood 20x26" and 24 bulbs total....and piece of thick aluminum like disposable baking pan for reflectors...cheap and works great..fits the dimensions of my Rubbermaid tote

I've been recently looking around looking for a good one to make because I've been growing with basically 0 reflectors, it works but it would most likely be better with em.

This is the one I was looking to make http://www.stonerhaven.com/topic/1343-diy-cheap-cfl-lighthood/

That guy..fresno farmer has a thread here too...http://www.rollup.org/cfl-flourescent-lighting/571564-600-watt-cfl-fixture-w.html

Here are pics of my hoods too.2959821d1379209458-grow-closet-advice-needed-2946682d1379209458-my-first-grow-28.jpeg

OP,don't cluster your bulbs together....like the other riu member(if that's what/who your talking about).Don't block one bulb with another.Put bulbs on their sides or at an angle.

Edit: links didn't work but thats still the thread titles:)
Double edit:I figured out how to post a link:eyesmoke:
