Hey guys im not totally new to the concept of growing weed :hump:

but this is my 2nd attepmt at it and seems to be going very well. I have 3 plants. They are all females and about 18 weeks as a whole growing and about 4 weeks into budding. For lighting im using 8 cfl lights bulbs connected into a powerstip. I just made a grow box out of a cardboard box and seems to be working well i have two fans one outtake one intake, in the box. Right now im running 12/12 light cycle and i have 4 daylight bulbs and 4 warm light bulbs which are on the lower side of kelvin about 3500 to 4500. Everything is going great so far most of the hairs have started to turn red now in the past couple days. I have pictures of the grow box and all the plants i have any advice is welcome.

Get some soft white bulbs, 2700k, much better for flowering.

You vegged for three and a bit months!? Thats nuts.

Anyway, i'm confused as to how your bulbs are positioned, are they hanging vertical or sideways? and is your intake in the middle or on the bottom of the box?

How bad does it smell when all 3 are budding?

Okay first reply is to popcorn yes i did veg for about 3 months the soil im using is some miracle grow and some compost soil mixed with some root growth stuff. Okay when the box is on its just sits over top of the plants, the lights are over top hanging from the box with zip ties. I checked the bulbs and they are 3500k I think I will leave em because just one day of growing for 12 hours i have noticed alot more red hairs now

. My intake is on the side of the box about halfway down I usually have a small desk fan on the floor when the plants are much much smaller to grow thick stalks, I need to figure out a way to hook it up into the side of the box. Cheif The plants smell pretty damn good I can smell them outside of the room in my living room when the lights are on for some hours and it heats up.

Another thing the tiny plants in the small green pot are about 2-3 week and started outside now i moved inside to a closet growing them with a aero-garden light no water in it. These are 3 plants mix into one I have a garbage tie around them Im trying to have all three grow together and see if it wont be all one type of crazy ass bud from bag-seed or if it will be 3 different ones, so we will watch these they are not yet big enough to be moved into the bigger box. I will be transplanting these in about 2 more weeks into a bigger pot give or take depending on the size, and I will be mixing the compost soil with the root grow additive, not a lot but just enough. I have a problem with the compost soil its not staying moist enough and if i put peat moss in it i think it hurts the plants any suggestion for this?

I do have some extra bulbs also I will try them and take out the daylight blubs and see what kind've result i will have

My buddy did the same thing and budded them at 2 weeks of veging, and flowerd for 9 weeks beacause of the cfls he was using. They were compact lights not tubes. He got a little more than a 1/4oz. Per plant and had about 6 plants I was vert surprised at the yeild and quality, the top nugs were rock hard!_

I would get some wyes so you can situate the clfs close to bud sites. get a bunch. more cfls would be good. check out morebudsforless book it has a pretty cool cfl setup. peat moss can be acidic and hold too much water. how often are you watering?

Well I cant really hang the lights any other way. I was thinking about adding another powerstrip and another fan. I water every other day only at night time.

So is their any type of fertilizer i could add to these guys or mix into the soil? maybe the water. anyone have any ideas?

Okay so i want to clone some of my plants any body give me any advice? I need to know what stage this can be done at and what stage it can not be done at. I saw that it is 12/12 and to cut at 45 degree angles and dip into root growth hormone, put into water is their anyway i can put this into the box or is that to much light? can i use soil instead of water?
