cfl flowering question

im sorry if this already has been answered looked for it but couldnt find it sorry
so i have 4 18 6500 k cfls only using two right now as thats all they need but in a week or so im going to lst then flower my question is can i flower with the same cfls or do i realy need to get 1 2700k for every 3 6500k?

You can flower with the same cfls but the closer to the red spectrum the better. I flower using hps but I still use my blue veg cfls in flower also, the more light whatever spectrum the better unless you have high temp problems

2700k or around that spectrum is for flowering.

Yes 2700k is the correct spectrum for flowering but dont let the 6500k bulbs go to waste, use them also.

Yeah guitar is right, You can mix the spectrum like a couple 2700k then 1 6500k.

If that's all you have so be it. If you are able to get the others I would. I'm sure it will be fine. You'll still get some smoke out of it that you didn't have before. Like the hid guys state hps is the only way to go. But cfl users do well also.you'll be fine. I'd go hps to but its not a option right now and I'm happy with my little stash.

I've found that 6500k cfl's produce more leafy bud compared to using red spectrum bulbs. I've grown alot and only with cfl's and in flowering it makes alot of difference flowering with mainly red spectrum cfl's.

is that with just cfls.. if so im getting i think your theory is true my plants are almost to 2 weeks and have alot of leaves im going to get the 6500 when i flower

I use 2700k for veg and flower, and no using 2700k during veg does not cause stretching.
