CFL 1st grow

Hey, my friend is growing and I am interested so i took pics of it and am recording a journal of it since he is new to growing. Any advice would be appreciated. He has 2 x 26 watt CFL(warm) and 2 x 26 watt(Sunlight). He wants to flower soon because of time constraints but are they too young to flower? Can anybody guess on how much they will yield(assuming their female) Any help would be great thanks!

Your plants look well! I would wait a few more weeks for those young plants. If time is a problem then maybe you could get a nice one hitter from them. Thats if they are girls.

Thanks for the reply man I appreciate it! Yea I heard they grow like at least another foot during flowering so would they produce an 1/8th a plant you think(again assuming their females)? Also, what good are males? If they were males wouldnt they just produce shwag?

Hey, I got some more pics. I hope they peak someones interest. They are a couple days into flowering, meaning 12/12 light schedule and 2 warm CFLs instead of the Sunlight CFLs.(again due to his time constraints). Im guessing female but its prolly to soon to tell. Maybe somebody with more experience could give me some advice or take an educated guess at what sex they are! The left definitely looks like a sativa and the right an indica. They are bagseed so Im not sure of anything really about them but they are looking good I think!

way to young i usually wait 6-8 weeks of veg before flowering with cfl's that is.

You can flower from seed aka flowering from 12/12

He dosent have to wait really if its too he doesnt want them to get big flowering from 12/12 is possible yelds will be low but enough to smoke!!!!

Good males are males that produce good pollen to promote good seed production this goes along with good a good female though

No they are gonna grow until they are sexually mature just like a human we can have sex at 10 but do you think sprem will be available nope we have to wait until our bodies start that process but u can put them in 12/12 like i said from seed.

They will produce bud the amount is based on light,temps,food,root growth, and air circulation!!!

if you wait longer youll get more bud. simple as that. its not false, id agree, i wouldnt flower because id want more bud. good luck though, looks great for a first time especially

also, time shouldnt be a big issue, it takes time to grow. hes not gonna flower and have bud next week. what time constraints are we talking about here

Hey, Thanks for all the advice. Im glad to hear theyll still produce bud! What does a little mean like would you guess an 1/8th? Obviously Im a noob and havent grown before so I have no idea how to estimate this kinda thing. Time is the only constraint here and obviously money(or Id have a whole warehouse dedicated to it haha).

This new pic is of a small cabinet purchased and these seedlings were awesome until the cfls fell on them :wall:

but they were trimmed and well see how they progress. There is a fan blowing from atop them and temps are running at 75-85 degrees with humidy 35-45%. Feel free to let me know if the humidity should be higher or lower but I believe The numbers are okay?

I'll keep getting more pics and I already want to post more because they are looking better than ever. I might try and LST them or at least type them up.

But yea guys try not to fight! Our common love for weed makes us all awesome haha

that plant wouldnt produce an 1/8th. my first plant i flowered at about 1 foot and got about an ounce off it. you need more secondary growth to get some weight.

Okay awesome! By secondary growth do you mean during flowering?? Did you LST your plant that harvested that at all to increase your yield to get that much? Or was it just naturally that much? Or could I ask more questions? haha
