Good grief. The census is about VERIFYING information. The GPS may eventually actually have some nefarius applications for pot growers, like helping LEO (or fire or EMS) to your door when needed, but for 99.9% of Americans that is a good thing. Getting your census accurate so your district gets its fair share of federal money is also a good thing. Get your myopic head out of the sand and understand life is about more than your ability to grow pot in anonymity.

Why doesn't the Census just ask them? (Surely there is a reason why stamps keep on going up and up, and it's not because the USPS' service has gotten any better.)

It may seem to be a good thing to those who believe the federal government has the constitutional authority to dole out "federal" funds, but to those of us who know that those funds are actually OUR funds that have been taken under the threat of force, THEN returned to US, the rightful owners after the government takes it's brokerage fee, think a little differently than you do.

Actually, there are those among us who didn't attend those government indoctrination camps known as "public schools."

so i'm sitting on my couch today and there's a knock at the front door. :shock:
nobody knocks at my front door. nobody even knows where my front door is. we have 3 separate residences here. so there is a knock. i don't answer it. my wife is in the bedroom i look at her. she shakes her head "no". so a second knock. then nothing. a minute later. "knock, knock" on our back gate. the gate was open but they didn't cross. she calls out "census bureau". then knocks again. i'm like "damnit, she's not leaving". so i step outside.

very friendly people. just doing their job. she had to clarify the 3 addresses. and just "jot down a few things". ping, ping, ping. i think it went. lol

Ur address isn't enough for'em.. they want to know EXACTLY where ur ass is lol. cant wait for them to come to my door :twisted: lol ....

i said "the mail all comes in one box", "we are all the same family", "we don't rent out this unit anymore". she said "we are showing 3 addresses so we just need to verify they are still here, even though vacant".


looking back i could have walked them back around to the front to mark me. then at least when they come i could still run out my back door. now i fucked. :evil:

haha... hell it. might be better this way.. now they'll come to ur back door.. you can just walk right out the front.. hop n ur car n go :hump:
