Cedars, PH radius?

How big of a radius around a cedar will the cedar turn acidic? I have a row of cedars I want to plant by, just wondering how far they would turn the soil acidic? Is it just directly under them? 5ft from them? Cant seem to find any good info on this. And FYI the cedars are just a row of cedars, planted by man years ago, It isn't multiple rows, its just one really long row, so how far away can I plant? Thanks! If its a pretty big radius around, how would one go about planting there without worry?

I have 2 plants just outside the drip line of a group of cedars. They are belly button high and seem to be fine.

Sorry but what is the "drip line" I'm not familiar with that term.

I thought Cedars turning the soil bad was a myth.

I would say so my only outdoor grow was next to a cedar tree and it surpassed it and was 8 ft tall christmas tree, this was over 15 years ago and was told like cannabis that cedar trees put out a heat signature which now seems more of a myth than that

Dip line- outer edge of the branches. Where the rain would drip.

Well, depends how you look at it, cedars and other coniferous trees make the soil acidic, so no not a myth but could be beneficial depending on the base soil.

Well, I'm using Ceder mulch topping right now. i:U It covers the base soil. I would think it would not cause an issue but if the risk is there how problematic could it be?

Mulch is a completely different story, mulch is aged so it wouldn't cause an issue!

Yeah , was away for a bit , but no way a cedar tree growing in the ground will cause the soil to be acidic , now using as a mulch is a different story. ^ ^ last post on here only time outdoor 15+ years ago out of a 5 gallon bucket then to straight dirt next to a cedar tree grew a tree.... was very nice.
