CDI REFUSES TO SELL TO GROWERS

I am not an attorney but doesn't that sound risky on their part? What if you were part of a research team and you attached losses? Seems like a risky practice on the part of cdi

I'm gonna guess that you're not in a legal state and said something to tip them off. It would be risky for them to sell to someone if they KNOW that that person is going to be using their products for illegal purposes and have the right to refuse sale.

How did they know?
The sales rep and I had a conversation on cri ratings vs color temp and growing different plants.

1.When you have chance read the Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

Especially the italized part pasted below
1.Orders: All orders placed by Buyer are subject to acceptance by Seller.

Legally speaking... according to the terms and conditions of sale, that you(the buyer) except by placing an order with the company(the seller). The seller does not have to accept your order just because you place an order.

2. If you really want the parts and assuming the stock is available. place another order. Just do not tell the company you are using the lights for growing. You do not have to tell them the purpose for the order to complete it.

A lot of the parts I bought for my custom light array was order through that company.

send your money else where do you really want to give your money to them. after that it's just me i would want to give it to a company that's embracing the future not the past. But that's just me
I agree with you and one reason I emailed citi asking for a distributor other than cdi in the usa

They accepted the order on the 1st and had a ship date of 10/28 charged my credit card so to me they accepted the order, then on the 14th notified me that it was canceled and I was told that the items never should have been sold to me since there intended use was for cultivating

To be honest this doesnt reflect much on the "values" or culture of CDI. More than likely it's the crusade of some asshole sales manager or the paranoia of their legal counsel.

I'm not expecting any of these companies to pat me on the head and tell how dank they hope my Durban Poison turns out. As long as MJ is schedule 1 expect most companies to treat it that way and cover their ass.

I bought 75 1212's earlier this year from CDI. Went through their Seattle reps. Had no problem. Didn't mention what I was using them for. Everything shipped from CO. Maybe try a different rep.
