Hell yeah man I have to see those pictures. I've had the same experience with giving up on plants and they start going crazy out of nowhere, weird stuff.

Man what a bummer, I live up in Washington and don't have any ripe fruit yet. I've only been able to pull a few peppers because I started them indoors. The cayanne from indoors was the hottest pepper I've ever had dands down, way hotter than a Habenero. It's just good organic feeding that gets them hot.

Im most excited for my Cajun bell it's got chit all over but it's just small peppers still. Hope they ripen before my season is over!

Hotter than habanero? That's hard to believe.

Deeaaamn!
They look delicious.
Thanks Sturbz, its my first time growing peppers and I dont have any clue as to when I should even pick them... that red one looks like it might be done now, but as for my bells I got them seeds out of organic red orange and yellow bells so why the heck are they still green..
also what about the cayenne when should those be ready to pick?

Id wait until the peppers are well and truly the colour they should be before Picking hey. Once you start picking them though, the rest will start to ripen quicker as well. Also give your plants some potash sulfate and they will ripen quicker as well :)

Also meant to say too that once they start to change colour thats when they start to get their heat :) if they stall during ripening just pick a couple of semi ripe ones and the others will start the process again :)

Hey guys, I'm back from vacation a little early. I haven't seen much change in my peppers. I have to water them in a few minutes before I check my guerilla grow (: Check out grow in my sig.

Anyone here like chili peppers? I'm thinking of making some homemade cayenne pepper flakes.
I just started some Habaneros about a month ago, finally got smart and saved some seeds instead of pickling everything out of the 5.99/lb things.
I'm in Ga., weather here is hot and muggy, humidity not uncommon to be in the 60-65% range.
Do you think I'll get any this season?
