Not only the strain cat piss smells like cat piss. Ive had a few pheno of gws from greenhouse that really smelt like cat piss. A few bagseeds Ive grown out have smelt like this to.

no no no. Cat Piss is a very real strain and it's VERY dank shit. It does smell/taste just like Cat Piss with a dash of fabrese.
That was Mac Dre's favorite smoke. Rapped about it all the time.
Haze smells like xat piss when it's growing not so much in the bag though, it's a powerfull strain if you like your Sativas.

The original Cat Piss, according to what I read and heard years ago but I cannot swear it was correct, was a Haze phenotype. I have read that it still exists but in a clone only form.
I did find this while looking around ... though I will not swear it is the original Cat Piss.
If it is what it is claimed to be I would say it is hardly "dirt weed" and I know the Cat Piss of the past was anything but "dirt weed."
always accurate hehe yah its clone only right now, its a real retro strain....not for stealth grows otherwise ppl will think ur hoarding cats.brick, sounds about right. my boy who worked with cp grabbed a couple clones in nyc from the same guy he use to get fla "crippy" from. he was a hippy from florida that lived in north carolina and said the mother originated from his "families" super silver haze stock. this was 10 years ago.
it's not that we're trying to get trees to smell like piss, it's just a very potent super silver haze pheno thats was named catpiss. let me tell you from first hand expeience, this was one of the most potent strains i've ever smoked. again, this is a clone only strain from a ssh line that was named cp, not some bagseed or random plant with a piss smell. if you ever get the oportunity to smoke some, you might have a different outlook on it.
haha, just as i was typing the last response i got an email from my boy in boston whos bringing me a care package home next week,,,, guess whats gonna be in it? yep a 1/4 oz of cp, along with some super skunk, sour bubble, a some beautiful kush going around his area.

Why did people go all Lady Gaga over weed that smelled like a skunk smashed on a road? It is not actually the cat piss odor people want. It is the high that you get from the weed that just happens to smell like cat piss, just as the high people wanted that came from weed that smelled like a dead skunk was buried in the bottom of their bag.
When RC's online seed/clone auction, cBay, was still running Cat Piss clones would be available fairly often. If people had thought it would become as rare as World Series winning Chicago Cubs teams I have to believe more people would have kept bidding until they won an auction rather than waiting for the next auction assuming there would always be another chance for a clone at a better price.

i wish i could get a clone of that. idk ifvyou tried this weed or lived in this area (boston or east coast where it is) u would def have this strain among your favs. theres just nothin like it

If you can find the Real McCoy you would love it. If you smoke some other strain that for some other reason has an odor of cat piss you will likely not be impressed.
Many years back there was a Canadian seed shop that dealt only, or mostly in F2's and if I remember right a true Cat Piss pheno could from time to time be found from one of their F2's. I want to say it was Willy Jack, but I cannot swear to it, it has been too many years, but I do think that was the shop. I know it was not Joey Weed and I did not know of many so I do tend to think that was the place. I am not sure if Willy Jack is still in business or not and even if so I would not have any idea if the same F2 is still available. But F2's might be someone's best chance of finding Cat Piss IF the right original strain has an F2 offered.
